In this course, students become familiar with the internal structure of EMS. They will learn to add new functionality to the Enterprise Management Suite software by creating and modifying Python scripts, CLI scripts and XML files. This will allow students to create the structure for non-3Com devices and add new functionality to existing 3Com equipment. The new functions include such items as telnet scripts, network jumpstart and custom actions on events.
